Drives looking forward to 2021/2022
With the province moving into stage 3 the Drives are hoping that means back to the ice for them
Recently the WOAA held their annual meeting via Zoom, although still stuck in stage 1 at the time the vibe was positive in the room that with the impending move to stage 2, then stage 3 that the league would be able to get back on the ice come fall of 2021. The Drives after the long layoff are looking to build off the strong finish they had in the 2019/2020 season, having been shut down just before starting the A championship series with Tavistock. Head coach Mike Chapman says he can still remember getting the news and how upset the guys were after being so pumped finishing a great series with Elora, Mike also said he had way too much free time on his hands last winter and can't wait to get back to the rink and around the guys again.
