Drives crush the Crushers
The Drives swept the Shallow Lake Crushers in their best 2 of 3 series to start playoffs
Friday Feb 14th the Drives players and staff spent their valentines day on the road to Shallow Lake, but they did not show them any love taking the game 6-3 and the series 2-0 to escape the first round of the A playoffs undefeated!
The Drives will now meet the Elora Rock in the second round of playoffs starting this Friday in Elora, followed by a Sunday afternoon tilt at the PERC. The Drives and the Rock split their season series with the Drives winning the first game of the season in Elora and the Rock taking the second game in OT in Milverton.
Head coach Mike Chapman said he believes his team should be able to move past the Rock and on to the finals but knows the Elora team works hard and will make it difficult on them
