Drives become shootout experts
Last Friday night the Drives had their second consecutive game end in a shootout
Friday night the Drives donned their Movember Cancer jerseys in an effort to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, the whole Drives staff, executive and team could be seen wearing Movember jerseys complete with the names of family members who had been affected by cancer. The game itself was a great back and forth affair between the Drives and the Shelburne Muskies which ended up needing overtime and a shootout to be decided, in the end the Muskies prevailed moving them to 6 and 1 on the season and into a tie for first place in the league.
That is 2 games in a row now the Drives have lost in a shootout, gaining valuable points in what can only be described as very tight standings early in the season. The Drives hit the road this weekend to visit the Lucknow Lancers before returning home on Nov 15th to face the Elora Rock.
